Wyoming conservation rebate programs will be closing on September 20, 2011. All equipment must be purchased and installed by September 20th and rebate applications must be received by September 26, 2011 in order to receive payments.
Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. offers three electric energy saving residential programs in the state of Wyoming. These programs are designed to promote the conservation of electricity and are available to Montana-Dakota’s residential electric customers in the state of Wyoming. The following outlines the details of the programs:

Montana-Dakota Energy Conservation Programs
Residential Electric Programs:
ENERGY STAR® Rated Central Air Conditioning:
Montana-Dakota residential electric customers, who are replacing a standard efficiency (10 SEER rating or less) electric central air conditioner with an ENERGY STAR rated (14 SEER rating or greater) electric central air conditioner, qualify for an incentive payment of $125.00/ton.
ENERGY STAR® Rated Refrigerators:
Montana-Dakota residential electric customers who purchase an ENERGY STAR® rated refrigerator will qualify for an incentive payment of $10.00 for investing in the energy saving appliance. This program is limited to one refrigerator per residential electric account.
ENERGY STAR® Rated Freezers:
Montana-Dakota residential electric customers who purchase an ENERGY STAR® rated freezer will qualify for an incentive payment of $10.00 for investing in the energy saving appliance. This program is limited to one freezer per residential electric account.
To apply for the Electric Incentive Programs, fill out the following form, include a copy of the dealer sales invoice (with the brand, model number, serial number and installation date) and send it to Montana-Dakota:

Rebate Payments:
Rebate payments will be issued in the form of a U.S. Bank® Rebate Visa® Card, for residential customers receiving rebates of $1,000 or less. Rebate payments of more than $1,000 will be issued in the form of a check. Montana-Dakota does not issue rebates in the form of a utility bill credit.
The U.S. Bank Rebate Visa Card cannot be reloaded with additional funds, nor can it be used at an ATM (Automated Teller Machine). Terms and conditions apply and other fees may apply to Rebate Cards.
