HOME SECURITY

If you have MDU Safe-n-Secure^sm installed in your home, garage, remote buildings or cabin, and a door opens, a window breaks or there's movement inside, Safe-n-Secure sensors are triggered. The sensor alerts the control panel and a call is made to MDU's Monitoring Center immediately. MDU dispatchers contact whoever you've designated - you at work, your neighbor or the police.

Each MDU Safe-n-Secure^sm control panel will handle up to 24 sensors. You can start with the Motion Security package if if fits your needs or customize your system by including optional sensors. Our MDU representative will be glad to customize a personal monitoring system for your home.
• Carbon Monoxide Sensor -- Carbon monoxide is an odorless, silent killer that victimizes people before they even know it. Early detection is the key to saving lives especially while you sleep. Carbon monoxide sensors detect this deadly gas and alert you as soon as it reaches dangerous levels. You're warned before a tragedy can occur and an alarm is sent to MDU's Monitoring Center.
  
  
• Water Sensor detects leaks in your home or business and notifies you of these leaks before they become BIG FLOODS! If a film of water forms between the two contacts on the sensor, an alarm will trigger. The sensor will not alarm due to condensation or high humidity.
  
  
• Lamp Module is connected to a table or floor lamp in the main living area of your home. It turns lights on if your smoke sensor or heat rate-of-rise sensor is activated.
